- I LOVE to cook. I do not create recipes, rather I stick to the tried and trues. I love to use recipes that my mom and Bryon's mom used while we were growing up. I am adding to those recipes by trying new recipes that I find on the internet or recipe books. I follow the recipe to a "T". When I spend the time cooking a recipe, I want to make sure it turns out so I don't vary at all from a recipe. I plan out a 30-Day menu and go grocery shopping once a month for the majority of groceries. I still end up going to the grocery store, more than I would like, for fresh fruit and vegetables, milk, or miscellaneous items.
